What do I wear?

Fun fact about me is that I love clothes. I love how an article of clothing can transform a person physically and mentally. Clothes can bring back a feeling or a memory and transport you back in time.

So it may surprise you that I believe wardrobe is truly not that important for the way that I shoot.

Quite honestly, and I'm not even close to exaggerating here: Please do not stress out over wardrobe. Please don't feel the need to run out and buy all new things. We can do a completely versatile and amazing shoot with sheets, a sweater, or a scarf. Truly. Don't stress about it.

And if you've been following my work, you may have noticed that my main focus is seeing the woman in front of my camera and capturing who she is at the time of the session. I love capturing the range of emotions in a person, which can go from pure joy, confidence, introspection to playfulness. My focus is on the woman and less about what she is wearing.

While reading this, you might still be thinking... Amy, I hear you, but I still need a tiny bit more guidance on what to wear during the session. Okay, I get where you're coming from!

Once your session is booked, you will receive a copy of our Session Prep guide with information about wardrobe, shopping tips if you'd like to explore purchasing items for your session. I am also available to help answer any questions you may have.

In all seriousness you are the main focus and not the clothes. I can't wait for you to celebrate yourself by choosing to experience an unforgettable photo session with me!
